“The Power of Teamwork”
● PE.7.M.1.1: Demonstrate proper techniques for movement and body control in
sport-specific skills.
● PE.7.R.2.2: Reflect on the importance of teamwork and communication in achieving
group goals.
Warm-Up (7 min):
● Light jogging around the field or gym
● Dynamic stretches (leg swings, arm circles, lunges)
● Group breathing warm-up: inhale 4 seconds, exhale 4 seconds (x3) to center focus
Main Activity (20 min):
● Drill 1 – Stance & Start: Teach and practice three-point stance; practice quick explosive
starts.
● Drill 2 – Mirror & Drive: Pair up; one player mirrors the other’s movement while
maintaining blocking posture.
● Drill 3 – Team Drive: Groups of 4–5 simulate line movements, focusing on cadence,
teamwork, and balance.
Cool-Down (5–7 min):
● Static stretches (hamstrings, shoulders, quads)
● Deep breathing (inhale 4 sec, hold 2 sec, exhale 6 sec)
● Reflection: How did breathing and teamwork affect your focus?
