Holistic Curriculum

The Holistic Curriculum

A holistic approach to a school program would focus on the whole child, not just academic skills. It would include emotional, social, physical, and creative development alongside traditional subjects. For example, lessons could combine mindfulness, gratitude journaling, and brain breaks with math, science, and language learning to ensure students grow in resilience, self-awareness, and kindness.

An optimistic classroom is one where teachers and students share a positive, supportive environment. It encourages hope, motivation, and kindness, helping students believe in their ability to succeed. Teachers in an optimistic classroom model gratitude, resilience, and empathy, which builds a culture where students feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
