  • Students should design a creative dance lesson plan using the components above, applying Movement Metaphors, Conceptual Dance/Art, VAKT Learning Styles, and Individuation.

  • Roles of the teacher should include being a Creativity Facilitator, Behavior Manager, Freedom-to-Make-Mistakes Giver, and balancing Coach, Teacher, and Mentor functions.

I think with the younger Kids one should let them be and give them things that are easy for their mind but keep them up with the older kids. With the older kids, one should keep them working without stressing them out.

I think the role should be teaching very understanding, making sure to go over things like 2 or 3 times be repetitive.I think they should come off very like politely with the younger kids but as the age go up you can start coming more off as demanding but not harsh.

I think the role of the dance teacher should first make sure the class is comfortable enough to express themselves. His/Her role is to make it a norm to be creative and free in ones own body.

I feel like the role of a dance teacher that is teaching k-12 is to get to know the younger kids and really just to let them have fun. But the older kids it should be more strict and hands on because they are old enough to remember things.
